Some of The Best Tourist Places to One Can not Ignore on Their Visit to Pune

We all love to travel at various places and explore the world. Yes, some of us may not be fond of travelling but most of the people are and that’s the reason holidays are planned near any tourist place. 

Travelling not only refreshes our mind but also it increases our knowledge. We meet new people; get to know new places and just wonder how beautiful the world is outside us. This world is a bunch of several states, continents and countries and every place has its own beauty.

So, let’s move ahead and discuss about some of the well known tourist places in Pune: 

a) Aga Khan Palace:  It is one of the well known destinations in Pune and it is a perfect place for remembrance of traditional Indian architecture as well as excellence. This palace is surrounded by green gardens from all sides. It is one of the reminders of royal past of this magnificent city. 

b) Osho Ashram:  It is one of the most craved institutions for meditation as well as personnel development. It is situated on the outskirts of the city near Koregaon park, 40 minutes away from Mumbai. 

This Ashram was founded by Osho Rajneesh; a spiritual guru who is well known for his meditation techniques. 

c) Guru Nanak Darbar:  This amazing tourist place is situated at Pimpri which is located nearly 18 kms away from Pune station. One can take local transportation to reach to this place. The Darbar starts at 5:30 am with bhajan and kirtan and every Thursday there’s Bhandara ( Food serving to all people visiting Darbar)

d)   The Bund Garden:   It is located on the banks of the rivers Mula and Mutha is another place of tourist attraction. One can enjoy the beautiful flowers in the garden and also take boat rides while relaxing with one's family on a holiday. Similarly Appu Ghar is also a big attraction for the kids there and one must not miss it at any cost.

e)   Dagduseth Halwai Ganesh Temple: The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Ganesha is also very famous in Pune and devotees from all over India come to visit it to offer prayers to the deity of prosperity. During Ganesh Chaturthi the place is thing to behold. It is decorated and a whole lot of money is spent in making the prasadam to be distributed among all.

Apart from all this the Shaniwar wada palace fort , Saras Baag, Parvati hills,Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park are some more interesting places to visit.Mulshi Lake and Dam , Darshan museum and the Peacock bay again are a must for tourists. Overall Pune with its charm is capable of taking our breath away.

Nearly 1500 people come here on this day to be a part of this Bhandara Programme. A real religious moment is felt at that time when you see people enjoying the food together.
